Inspection Frequency

Most long vents should be cleaned every year. Dryer Vent Cleaning is the only solution. Some dryer vents need attention more often, some less often. Determining factors include:

• How heavily the dryer is used.
• Distance from dryer to outside wall / angles and the materials used. (Shorter vents usually blow better.)
• The age and type of dryer and venting used.
• The design of the vent. Those with a lot of turns and elbows blow worse and build up more lint.
